Featuring free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool, Resotel design hotel is located in Villares de la Reina and includes its own petrol station and 24-hour shop and café. I forgot a personal document in the hotel and they were very helpful in sending it to my address free of charge.

Featuring pretty, green gardens and a furnished terrace, Hotel Rural Salvatierra is located in Salvatierra de Tormes, overlooking Santa Teresa Lake. The excellent view from our balcony. Only 11 people in the whole town!

Named Most Excellent european City Hotel by Condé Nast Johansens, this is a charming and quiet hotel in which you find spacious, perfectly designed and well equipped rooms. The breakfast spread is not a usual hotel buffet. It is an exceptional spread of fruits, pastries, cake, cold meats and cheeses. In addition you can order eggs to your liking, freshly cooked toast, freezely squeezed juice & a plate of freshly cut fruit. I did not need lunch although stopping for a coffee at one of the many cafes in Salamanca is a must. The staff also provided a takeaway breakfast the morning of my departure at 5am. This hotel only has 14 rooms, an amazing reception and lounge area and 24 hour bar. It is exceptionally well furnished & comfortable. The staff are amazing. It is located just opposite the old city wall not far from the cathedrals, a perfect location for most of the sites. The hotel provides a map of the main sites and opening times which was very useful. I saw everything marked on the map in 1 and half very full days

Surrounded by the monuments of historic Salamanca, this stylish, modern hotel is set in a renovated convent full of timeless charm. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The restaurant is Amazing. The food and wine are not to be missed. The location of the hotel is perfect for a visit to Salamanca. The staff were great. An excellent hotel experience.

This converted convent is in the beautiful Duero Valley and has its own vineyard and a spa. We loved the beautiful old world charm and how this historic monastery was so well renovated, the history of the place, the gorgeous grounds with the River Tormes, the trees, the vineyards, and the fantastic service by the friendly, professional staff. The included breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the restaurant - Jorge was especially helpful in recommending wines, the entire staff were wonderful, and the food was delicious. The sautéed spinach with garlic (actually on their bar menu) was the best spinach dish we've ever had in Spain. From inside the restaurant, we actually saw the chef in the garden by the river picking our spinach fresh for the dish - we loved that! The buildings and spaces were so cozy and charming, the restaurant was beautiful, and our room and its views were fantastic. The wine tasting was also great - very informative and enjoyable in the impressive cellar. Our spa treatments were also wonderful. The mill house where the spa is located is so beautiful and Anna was so kind and did an amazing job on my treatment. What was very special is that she remembered from my email contact that it was my birthday and she had a bottle of the Hacienda's Brut Rose Cava for us to drink while we were in the jacuzzi! It was so thoughtful and a delicious cava. We couldn't finish it all then, so she made sure that it was saved for us and brought to us in the restaurant that dinner after dinner. I got the Rosas y Vino (roses and wine) treatment - it was amazing and she did such an incredible job. One of the best spa treatments I've every received. We definitely look forward to returning soon!

Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor is a 15th-century castle, set in the Castillian countryside. It was PERFECT! The castle is truly magical. We had wonderful time going through the castle's stairways and surroundings. It is a great a unique feeling that you are standing in a building which was built in the 11th century. And it is a huge bonus that you can go around this place freely. It is like to sleep in a museum. I LOVED the view from the room (photo attached), with all the cows, birds, trees, and just nature in its native form. The location it is a bit secluded, so you need to keep this in mind. We ordered some food via the room service - which was fast and tasty. We bought two bottles of local wine for 20 euros (funny price) - wine was great! They gave us a small gift at the checkout - a branded bag and cookies :) I will definitely return, this time with my wife.

Boasting a restaurant, bar and views of mountain, Hotel Rural Sierra de Francia is situated in Sotoserrano, 19 km from Las Batuecas Natural Park. Located in a beautiful town. The staff was super nice to us and extremly helpful in a way I've never felt before, we had trouble with our rented car and they went above and byond to help us, after a day they came to us and ask if we were able to sort it and if we're ok. It just made us feel so welcomed and at home. The food was amazing, one of the best meals we had in Spain, even if you don't stay there go have dinner!!! I would so love to go there again! Wifi was good, hot water in the shower, the staff warmed the room ahead for us... I really can't say enough about this place lol

Set in Puerto de Béjar, 48 km from Plaza Mayor, Hotel Rural Candela y Plata offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. It was a beautiful traditional house on 2 floors with a fantastic rear garden and Mountain View’s to die for very clean with a spacious well insulated room and a lovely private bathroom with a big tv in the lounge

Set in picturesque Candelario, within a 10-minute drive of La Covatilla Ski Resort, Hotel La Casa Chacinera is an 18th-century stone building offering heated houses with free Wi-Fi. Beautiful building, very comfortable and spacious. The location was spectacular, with magnificent views. Alicia and her husband were very friendly, helpful and we loved chatting to them about the history of their property, Candelario and their ancestors.

Featuring a terrace and garden fitted with chairs and tables, Posada Real Ruralmusical overlooks the hills, 8 km from Bejar. It offers accommodation with a classic décor and wood beamed ceilings. The owner treated me as if I was family. Great attention to detail and a high level of customer service. You wont go wrong staying at this hotel.
