Set at an altitude of 2000 metres, this hotel is next to a beautiful lake and 5 ski lifts. Located at the top of the Vall de Núria rack railway. This hotel is beautifully situated in the Valley of Nuria. You take a train to get there and when you enter the valley it is as if you entered a winter wonderland. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the train station so you need only walk a few minutes to get to the front desk. The rooms are modestly decorated which was fine with us. The bathtub was perfect for a bath and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice walk during the day around the hotel area and there were people skiing (however we were not ready to ski). We chose the breakfast and dinner option which we highly recommend. The hotel is in an isolated valley and there are no restaurants close by. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice time.

Featuring free WiFi, Masia Can Constans is located in Queralbs, a 25-minute drive from the ski lift. This property offers holiday homes surrounded by nature, plus a shared garden and terrace. We went for a winter hiking trip from Ribes de Freser to Puigmal and stayed here in Queralbs for one of the nights of our hikes. It’s a lovely and cosy stay with incredible views over the mountains. With the cold temperatures, the fire place was a very welcome part of the living room. The hostess, Magna, was incredibly kind and even though my Spanish (or Catalan) isn’t the best - it was easy to communicate with each other! Highly recommend staying here if you are around the area.

Location was great, right off the hiking trail from Queralbs to Nuria. Convenient free parking, private units, beautiful view. Washer and drying rack. Host was very accommodating of an early check in and gave an excellent recommendation for the local restaurant (we went back 3x!). We stayed 2 nights. Beds very comfortable.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, Mas La Casanova is located within 4 km of Queralbs and Ribes de Freser, in the Catalan Pyrenees. The property offers rooms in a rustic-style country house. Estelle was an INCREDIBLE host, so lovely, accomodating and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast after being on the road eating out most days for 5 weeks. Her dog was very sweet and we loved meeting him. Plenty of tracks directly around the farmhouse that we utilised to get into Queralbs.

Set at 2125 metres in the heart of the Eastern Pyrenees, Pic de l'Àliga is located in Vall de Nuria. It is surrounded by mountains and nature, and offers views of Nuria Valley. Location, staff are kind and helpful , I had a nice view from my window to the mountain. And the breakfast was good.

Les Roquetes is located in Queralbs, in the Ripollès area of the Catalan Pyrenees. It is 200 metres from the Núria mountain railway and offers rooms with a private balcony. What didn’t I like is a better question. It was a gem in a beautiful location. The food at the hotel was also great, local and affordable.
