My friend and I stayed here for a night in December and loved it: the rooms are very nicely decorated and the staff is so helpful. They keep our room until late evening, (5 minutes walk) from Lake Tana, nice restaurants nearby, We made a boat tour through Yiganda hotel and the facilities was wonderful.

The facilities and rooms were extremely clean and all time. The restarting food is definetley one of the best in the city, serving both traditional Ethiopian food and international at the highest quality. I will definitely always recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the region. I came from Mumbai to Addis Ababa, then took a bus from Addis to Bahir Dar. This hostel was a gem with the value you pay. I asked them to buy the return bus ticket, pick up to the bus station in the early morning and they happily did. The best part was they helped me get an excellent tour package of the Lake Tana and the Blue Niles Waterfall, with very good price for one day, as I was tight with my schedule. The tour went very well with excellent and safe vehicles (car and boat), great guides, and all important places. The room I got has a queen size bed, shower and toilet attached, with good privacy and cleanliness. I stayed two nights and will do it again when I have a chance.Please support this property as well as the Bahir Dar. They are waiting and very happy to serve you to the best of their abilities.
