Detta lilla boutiquehotell ligger intill sjön Saimen i Nyslott, bara 100 meter från bron till Olofsborg slott. Här erbjuds individuellt inredda rum med vacker utsikt och gratis fast internet. Absolutely one of the best little places I've stayed anywhere! It's a cosy little place with only a couple of rooms which open up to a lawn with an amazing view of the castle and the lake. The owner was so welcoming and friendly. I enjoyed getting to chat with her after breakfast and learning more about the area. It was more akin to being a welcomed guest in someone's home rather than just a customer as a hotel. I would absolutely stay there again!

Set in an orthodox monastery by Lake Juojärvi, Valamon Luostari offers peaceful accommodation and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. Joensuu city centre is 55 minutes’ drive away. Everything was excellent. The room was cozy and very comfortable. It has everything, what can be needed during the stay. The quality of the internet connection was very good. The room was beautifully decorated. If you come to pray, you can not bring your own icons, since the room has one big icon.

Detta 1930-talshotell ritades av den finske arkitekten Wivi Lönn och ligger vid sjön Saimen. Olofsborg ligger bara 400 meter bort. The location of the hotel was excellent. Its right on the edge of the lake and it was very quiet and peaceful the castle is only a couple of minutes walk away and the harbour and town were less than a 10 minute walk. It's an old building with beautiful old style rooms. Our room was really big with a nice sitting area and a separate kitchenette with a sink, two ring cooker, kettle, fridge and utensils.. Tea, coffee, and sugar was supplied but no milk. The beds was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. It was well stocked with very nice toiletries. The breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of both hot and cold foods and extremely tasty. The staff in the hotel were extremely nice and helpful.

Located on an island on Lake Saimaa, this property is 10 minutes' drive from Punkaharju and 30 minutes’ drive from Savonlinna. It offers free WiFi and great fishing opportunities just metres away. The atmosphere And the nature is the key of the place. Very poor breakfast.
