A propriedade oferece WiFi gratuito, terraço e quartos com frigobar e área de estar. we got a very special room with a loft bed and a small stove with an oven which we used for the evening meal. The breakfast was plentiful with a very good croissant in a nearby restaurant.

Localizado a 500 m da Estação de Trem de Savonlinna, este hotel fica a 10 minutos a pé do Castelo Olavinlinna do século XV. Todos os quartos dispõem de TV e frigobar. The property is perfectly located next to the center, market, restaurants, grocery shop, train station, boat piers, only the long distance bus station is inconveniently located in totally different neighborhood. The room is modest and the bathroom somewhat inconvenient because of the placement of sanitary fittings in the bathroom. Anyway, everything was doing its job in a satisfactory way. It is also true that the price was quite high, but this is something that is so understandable for the July when famous opera festival/event takes place in the nearby castle/fortress of Olavinlinna. Also, I have noticed that Savonlinna, even without the opera festival is so admired by so many visitors from all parts of Finland and foreign countries, myself included, because of its astonishing beauty and possibility to enjoy in so many sights and activities. To conclude, although the room was simple and modest and although the price was high, I would return to this property because it represents a very good choice for staying and enjoying wonderful Savonlinna.

Situated on the picturesque Kasinosaari Island, this hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of Savonlinna-Kauppatori Station and the main street, Olavinkatu. Incredible location, the rooms where cozy and comfy, the staff were super friendly, the food from the restaurant was really good, and the whole place was pet friendly. The spa pools and sauna were also amazing and the price was really good. Overall, a really, really good experience!
