Beautifully situated boutique hotel accommodation above a restaurant. Meals are excellent and there was live entertainment the night we were there. Breakfast can be provided. Delightful staff. A really nice stay and not far from Villefort: highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived there, we were warmly welcomed by Sandra, the wonderful "receptionist" who is also chief cook, goat herder, and knowledge base on the Farm and its unique ecological orientation. The other workers there were also very nice and accommodating. All I can say: if you like Nature, and don't mind "getting away from it all", go there!

Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral. The rooms are beautiful designed and decorated, the staff were warm welcoming and attentive, and the crowning glory in this hotel is the food - fine dining that we were not expecting. Our late arrival led our decision to eat in the hotel, what a happy accident that was, the food is exceptional, exquisite, utterly delicious. Visit especially for the food and you will not be disappointed.
