Hôtel Le Maxime; Best Western Signature Collection is your host on the banks of the Yonne River, in the heart of Auxerre. Living room, lounge, business room, a tasting cellar and bar are available. We arrived late at night at Le Maxime. Auxerre was freezing and a soft cloud of icy vapour was lifting up from La Yonne river. Imagine how warm it felt when at the reception they told us we received a free upgrade to the Hotel's suite, with a balcony on the river! Breakfast was prime quality, too. Absolutely recommended.

Our room was spacious and had everything we need.

LOGIS HOTEL - Le Relais Saint Vincent is set in a 17th-century building located in Ligny-le-Châtel, 3 km from Pontigny with its abbey. Everything was great. Lovely big room with air-conditioning, very welcome after travelling from the Alps on the motorbike in 30+ degrees. Dinner was delicious.
