Located in Haltwhistle, 4.7 miles from Thirlwall Castle, Centre Of Britain Hotel has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Location was perfect for exploring Hadrians Wall and Vindolanda. Checkin was easy and the manager even assisted with carrying my parents bags upstairs. Our family room was large and comfortable (travelled with adult son) and my parents room was changed to be closer to ours, which was much appreciated. Off street parking was also provided. We dined at Zaki indian restaurant, food and service was excellent. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a variety of cereals, fruits and a full cooked breakfast. I would highly recommend staying at the Centre of Britain Hotel.

With an award-winning restaurant and free Wi-Fi, Riverdale Hall Hotel is set in large grounds, which lead onto the banks of the North Tyne River. Wonderful stay. We have stayed a few times now.
