I liked that you had a continental buffet but made to order hot food. Great options. Very fast and great service. Loved their coffee. The location was fantastic. Walked everywhere in Stratford, and even had a convenient car park. The garden was the highlight and spending time having a drink or doing work outside with great wifi can’t be beat.

The Merrie Lion in Southam features free WiFi and rooms with a flat-screen TV. Stratford-upon-Avon is 36 km from the hotel, while Coventry is 32 km from the property. Contrary to what I expected as I thought it was going to be a room above the pub, it was not. It was a separate purpose built building next to the pub, the room was spacious, modern, clean and comfortable. We had pets and the room even came with its own small walled yard. Plenty of space for parking the car. The Landlady Daphne is very friendly and welcoming as well as all her staff, and the food at the pub was exquisite! The village is lovely surrounded by beautiful countryside fields. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Staff was extremely helpful; Melony in particular There were vegan options which were delicious Highly recommend saying the golf course facing suites which have their own living, dining and kitchenette.

Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and bar. just about everything. room was classically styled but still practical and modern in the important ways. (enough plugs, usb outlets). bathroom was large, great shower. well maintained all around. breakfast and staff were fantastic.
