Being an Equity Punk member for almost 5 years, a stay at the Doghouse was definitely on my bucket list ever since I heard of its existence. So when my boyfriend and I booked tickets to a concert in Manchester a few days before my birthday, I knew exactly where I wanted to stay. Not only did the hotel and room exceeded our expectations, they also left a small gift and note for my birthday which I really appreciated. I especially loved all the small details in the room and around the hotel. Left most of them out of the pictures I added here, so you can find out yourself. But of course the shower beer and record player didn't disappoint. And the bed was one of the best beds we ever slept in! The room also has a BrewDog minibar with a great variety of beverages (both alcoholic as non-alcoholic) and also a great choice of snacks. In the room you will find a sort of pamphlet with all the drinks, snacks and BrewDog gadgets on it and how much they cost. So that you will not be faced with any surprises. Also great location! Little more than 10 minutes walk to Piccadilly Station, which will take you directly to the airport. And close to a lot of sights and activities in the city. Definitely want to stay here again! And want to try their location in Edinburgh as well!

Booked this hotel because it is closed to coach station as I return from London by coach at 10pm. It is very closed to the coach station less than 5 mins walk. And when I read the review comment of this hotel, every one said that the hotel is old and desperately need upgrade. Although it is a little bit old but everything is functioning and they are trying very hard to maintain it. It is because everyday when I went out from hotel, I can see that their maintenance team is busy in fixing everything and I was morning chat with one of them. and moreover with this price, it has a bath tub!!!! So if you r looking for a three star hotel price but more than three star service please consider.

The Royal Hotel was a visit of nostalgia for me, as I had stayed there as a child over fifty years ago. The staff, knowing this, were extremely pleasant and welcoming. The hotel is currently going through some updating but the 'bones' of the design are as they were. Special thanks go to Adamo and Lewis for their hospitality and helpfulness.

Beds were so comfy!!! Perfect for the first night after flying in. The bathroom was large and well facilitated. Towels were placed on a towel warming rack which was very fancy. Lobby had a bar which was cool. Staff were very nice and accommodating to random requests.

The hotel is in a very good location, near the beach and the promenade, with a building rich in history. The architecture and history are beautiful. It used to be luxurious, and that's still noticeable. Our room was on the 5th floor. Comfortable bed, renovated bathroom, dry, and clean. I especially want to mention the staff. My son got sick with a high fever, and we needed a late checkout at 5 p.m. They accommodated us without charging for an extra night and allowed us to stay for a very symbolic additional fee. We definitely want to come back.
