This was our third stay at the Megisti Hotel and cannot wait for our next stay. We visit Kastellorizo every time we are in Kas. Kastellorizo is a small, sleepy Greek Island 30 min boat ride from Kas, Turkey. Megisti Hotel is truly fantastic and without any doubt it is the best place to stay at Kastellorizo. The hotel is located at the entrance of the main harbor with a 5-minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are super clean and very comfortable. It has a fantastic swimming area, excellent bar and the restaurant serves delicious small plates. The entire staff is absolutely wonderful; Anna, Maria and everyone made our stay a very memorable one. We stayed many places on the Mediterranean Coast, and I must stay this hotel is one of the most pleasant places we have stayed. Kastellorizo is small and not much to do, but if you want to relax, rejuvenate, relieve stress, enjoy sunshine, swim and eat delicious Greek food, it is a great place to go.

I stayed just 24 hours in Kastelorizo and was extremely grateful to have been able to stay in Alex and Agathe’s townhouses. The island itself is beautiful, and it’s matched by the townhouses themselves. The exteriors and interiors are all a fantastic mixture of brick, stone, concrete, and natural woods. The kitchen stone-top wouldn’t look out of place on Architectural Digest to be honest (I stayed in the middle house which has a slightly different layout and no balcony upstairs). Everything was spotless and new, and I’m sure you could enjoy longer stays in the house. The fact the house sits on the final row of houses means you look down into the harbour and don’t have any of the noise from the restaurants and cafes, though with many locals constructing and rebuilding their houses, you might want earplugs if that kind of thing bothers you in the morning. The location starts/ends right by a walking path and is close by to the museum, church, and the amazing restaurant Ta Platania. Not that the town is big by any stretch or that you need to walk very far to get anywhere - you can take the shortcut through the alleyways and steps to Alex’s fantastic bakery within 1 minute and get yourself a coffee at Meltemi’s café after a few steps further. Alex and Agathe also deserve some credit for being warm people who make you feel welcome and at ease, without any of the “fake” hospitality that typical hotel staff provide. Agathe also left a sample bag of delightful biscuits from Alex’s bakery in the room (which I finished off pretty quickly). She also helped store my bags after check-out and was punctual for check-in and bag check-out which was appreciated. Alex also dropped me off at the ferry terminal in his bakery van, which isn’t necessary due to distance or difficulty, but simply a kind and appreciated gesture.

Gorgeously laid out apt with extra bed if needed. for a short stay I had all of the equipment and facilities I needed.

Mereäärne hoone on ehitatud kohaliku arhitektuuri järgi. Agnanti Studios asub Megistis, 500 meetri kaugusel kõrtsidest. Our room was as if it was in the sea. We had a great time at our balcony. We had wonderful breakfast. Kleopatra was a very nice and helpful host. We had everything we needed. We want to stay at this place on our next holiday.

Poseidon Hotel asub mereäärses hoones kahes uusklassitsistlikus hoones, rannast vaid 30 meetri kaugusel. Kastelorizo peamine sadam jääb 300 meetri kaugusele. Pretty, comfortable and had everything I needed and more. Lovely breakfast, great location.

Majutusasutus asub Meyistis, 1,5 km kaugusel Püha Konstantini ja Püha Konstantini katedraalist.Konditsioneeriga Studio in the Aegean asub Megisti arheoloogiamuuseumist 1,5 km kaugusel. Very well-decorated, cozy studio. You may find ever thing you need. Highly recommended.

Blue Horizon Kastellorizo asub Meyistis, Megisti sadamast vaid 400 meetri kaugusel. Majutusruumidest avaneb vaade mägedele. WiFi-ühendus ja eraparkla kasutamine on tasuta. The house is great, well designed, super clean and with an incredible view over the city and the harbour. From the two terraces you could enjoy beautiful sunsets. Every detail is well conceived and designed, kitchen is fully furnished and equipped. House is few meters away from market. Given the number of rooms is perfect for large families as ours. The host is super-responsive and very friendly. They offer a pick-up service at the harbour and a baggage drop-off the day you leave. Very handy! They made us feel as locals and our kids ended up milking their goat Penelope. 🥰 If you go to Kastellorizo (and you should) this is the place to stay!
