The cook is exceptional, amazing what she serves! This is an oasis of peace surrounded by the jungle. Much more relaxing to stay at this Hotel after a day of Tikal than at Flores. And it's easier and faster to go to Tikal from here. And in approx. one hour you'll be in Flores. Order a tuk-tuk to El Remote and take a collectivo (every 15 Min.) to Flores. Estuardo and his team were so nice and helped us in anything we needed.

The two staff members on reception (Brayam? and Danila?) were both very helpful when we had a problem with a cancelled flight and a lost phone. They also helped us book a good trip to Tikal.
