This is a special place. The photos on the Booking.com site are incredibly appealing and the reality even more so. Note than many reviews mention Tania - as well they should. She checks you in, serves you breakfast, serves you dinner, makes all the preserves and pretty much works a twenty hour day without ever seeming to tire. Unfailingly warm and courteous. While it wasn't our prior intention to eat dinner in the hotel each evening we did and we were so pleased with that decision. The entire ambiance harks back to a time when one checked into a country hotel and stayed there. The room was large and luxurious in a 19th century manner. Ample free parking in the courtyard. We certainly hope to return.

Palia's Hotel is situated in Laino Borgo and features a garden, shared lounge and bar. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi. Every room is fitted with a terrace. Returned for a second stay this visit on my way back from Sicily as it was such a positive experience on my way south. Roberto made me feel as at home as the first visit. There is a focus on simple, healthy items all made in-house and delicious. The location is 5 minutes off the autostrada, yet it is quiet and feels like a world apart. I will be back.

The most spotlessly clean rooms I've ever been in. The hotel is in top shape, our host Roberto at the front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast serves freshly made coffee to order with a wide assortment of cakes and pastries. We plan to come back!

When we arrived we were greeted by two adorable dogs, Lucy and Theo. The location is perfect, with breathtaking views, tranquil, yet close enough to many beautiful Calabrian beaches and lively Diamante in the evening. It was very clear how much thought went into every single detail at this exquisite property, truly a dream! We have been coming to Calabria since we were little and we just found this hidden gem. Gina the chef takes care of guests as if they were her own children and everything she prepares for food is homegrown, made with love, and divine! We ate the best food at La Pastorella. Claudia the owner is very kind and well known in the town of Maierà. We are in love with this place and will be returning. We felt at home.

Hotel Ristorante Sette E Mezzo is located in the Pollino National Park, a short drive from the Monte Sirino ski slopes. The restaurant serves traditional dishes of the Basilicata region. I normally go there to sleep while traveling to Sicily from Northern Italy, that is quite a long trip. The food is very authentic and good. Staff is kind. From here you can hike in the Pollino Park.

An elegant step back in time in a castle of historical importance. We greatly appreciated the elevator and the air conditioning. The views in this castle are amazing, and staff are very kind and helpful.
