Place is clean and beautiful, everything felt brand new. The host is very responsive and helpful via booking, and an English speaker which felt rare for us. The train from toyama has the most beautiful view and I'm glad we got there by sunlight. The location is great and next to the cable car to murodo to climb Mt. Oyama.

The staff were really nice. I really like this place because of the staff. They went above and beyond for me. Also definitely a good stop if you're doing the kurobe alpine route.

Περιτριγυρισμένο από όμορφα βουνά, το Midagahara Hotel βρίσκεται σε ένα εθνικό πάρκο 1930μ. πάνω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας. Fantastic location. Lovely nature and superb hospitality. We enjoyed it thoroughly. On request, they had offered vegetarian meal and it was excellent. Our special thanks to the chef and his team. We will surely come back for a longer stay.

Located in the Chubu Sangaku National Park, accessible by the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpen Route, Tengudairasansou（天狗平山荘） is set in Tateyama offering breathtaking mountain views and has a restaurant and a... Everything really. The atmosphere is cozy, safe and warm, and the rooms are clean and good size for the purpose. The location in the middle of the park is great, and we could get a lift to the top station for further trekking in the morning. The people working there were super friendly and super super helpful, they helped with maps, routes, lunch boxes, picked us up further down the mountain when the public bus had retired for the afternoon, and were just so sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough.
