Nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was absolutely beautiful, much more than we expected! Clean, light and comfortable more than big enough for 3 of us! The pool was warm and clean with loungers and towels. Food was a buffet style with lots to chose from so we were all happy! As we were full board, we took a packed lunch with us on the day we left and that was to the same high standard as dinner and breakfast had been in the hotel.

We stayed 2 nights as our plan was to visit Tsavo East Park. The lodge is not long opened. The spacious and airy makuti roofed restaurant is very pleasant ste in the garden which will be more lovely year by year. We had two tasty breakfasts and dinners there. Thank you Esther and Benson for your attentive and prompt table service. And all the staff are warm, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are also spacious, comfortable and simple. They overlook the nearby hills. . The lodge arranged our all day game drive in Tsavo East. We had a great time and we were so lucky, seeing two lion prides and a wallowing elephant. But the highlight was the team of driver/guide David and ranger/ guide Devlan. David took.his time driving through the park so we could spot the game and spend as much time as we liked when we spotted something. Devlan is so very knowledgeable about birds and when we couldn't see the birds he was able to tell us what was nearby by identifying their songs. It was fantastic. If you are a birder I highly recommend Devlan as your guide We've been on many game drives and this was one of the best, not high end, so enjoyable.very. So if you're looking for a great pocket friendly option for a game drive you couldn't do any better.

Set in Tsavo West National Park, Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge features a swimming pool, stunning views of the Chyulu Hills and overlooks its own waterhole visited daily by elephants, buffaloes and a... Really lovely, peaceful grounds with excellent (but unobtrusive) staff. Our game driver was excellent and the buffet meals were all exceptionally tasty (including the Kenyan coffee on offer…the best we have even at more expensive safari camps/lodges). The watering hole is a highlight and the grounds are beautiful.

Everything, this is a truly magical place. A little piece of heaven. The location is stunning, the staff so friendly and the Game Drives with Joseph so exciting. The rooms are huge with a balcony towards Tsavo River. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. For lunch, they made us a lunch package as we were on safari during the day. From our balcony and the common area we saw hippos, elephants, monkeys, buffalos and much more. The pool was great for soaking up some sun. But apart from all of that, the staff was the best. Rosemary, Nicodemus, Augustin and everyone else made our stay so wonderful.
