Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel features free WiFi throughout the property and views of pool in Kitulgala. secluded and emerged in the rainforest with the grounds to walk, natural pools to swim in and the luxury of the beautiful building that overlooks the entire scene. Anthony and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the stay was nothing short of perfect and chef Pradeep created the most outstanding Sri Lankan meals full of ingredients grown on the grounds for us and the children were spoilt too. Their highlight was being given umbrellas to dance in the rain!

Old Bridge Riverside Hotel features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and water sports facilities in Kitulgala. A new hotel, runned by a family who is very helpfull. Rooms are good and there is a shared balcony with splendid views, You can walk freely around Bibili Oya, the river next to the hotel . Food is at average level.

Situated in Pinnawala, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, The Grand Walawwa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The hotel is a great escape from a busy city. We love the colonial architecture and its comfort. The staff was nice, particularly the restaurant staff who took extra care of our meals. Mr. Brian was an amazing person who listened to our meal requests.

Situated in Kegalle, 32 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Rosyth Estate House features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden. We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Located right opposite Ma-Oya River, guests at Hotel Elephant Park "Grand Royal Pinnalanda" can watch elephants from their rooms. It has a restaurant and offers room service. Amazing view and plenty of time to see and feed elephants- can pay extra to bathe them- it’s all in affiliation with the elephant orphanage down the road- bring all the elephants down every morning for a swim in the river.

Set in Pinnawala, 34 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, Elepath Lodge- Pinnawala offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Location excellent and staff were lovely.

Located in Pinnawala, Cafe Pinnalanda features an outdoor swimming pool located at a 100 metre distance away. the property is new and very clean, it has a really good AC, the location is amazing is in front of the pinnawala elephant orphanage, the food is really good and the staff very friendly.

Pinnalanda Hotel offers free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property. Surrounded by lush greenery, the hotel is a 1-hour drive from the Kandy. Everything, rooms were super clean, tidy and comfortable. It was very spacious. The view is spectacular, you open the curtain or the door and elephants are batting right outside! Staff were extra friendly and very helpful. There are private balconies/sections for residents to view the bathing elephants without the crowd which was great. Breakfast was good.

Featuring a garden and water sports facilities, White Villa Kitulgala is set in Kitulgala. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also welcomes guests with a restaurant, a water park and a terrace. We have had the best stay at White Villa! Rangi and her mother made us feel so welcome. We have never experienced such hospitality - they really went out of their way to make our stay special. Rangi spoke perfect English, gave us tips about the local area and even helped us move onto Nuwara Eliya, speaking on the phone to the bus driver! Our rafting guides picked us up and dropped us off, so it’s very close to the local attractions. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner cooked by her mother which was amazing! They brought dinner down to our room, which we ate at the table outside listening to the sounds of the Forest. It was incredible! As for the room, comfortable bed, hot shower and balcony overlooking the beautiful forest. There is a stream just a minute walk away where you can swim.
