My room was exactly as described in Booking, very clean, and with a boiler to make warm beverage which I appreciated with the cold temperatures. The breakfast was excellent and unforgettable, you can choose whatever you want within a vast selection of salty dishes, salads, sweet dished, and the coffee is super good. A fantastic experience in a nice area, free parking, great value for money, I am looking forward to have the opportunity to come back.

Cesis is a cute little town about an hour's drive out of Riga. Cesis castle is a MUST SEE! It cost only 6 euros to enter, and staff provide quite an interactive and entertaining experience for adults as well as children. A short drive from Cesis in Sigulda is Tarzan's Adventure Park, set in the beautiful Gauja national park, it includes a toboggan ride! Looks like so much fun! Unfortunately it was raining the day we went.

The hotel is in an old historic building but has been remodeled on the inside. Just next to the historic part of town, about 10 minute walk from the bus/train station. Room was clean and comfortable, very quiet with a great view over the rooftops. Entrances to Gauja National Park about 2.5 km west.

Very beautiful place. It is closed in by a hedge so it creates a very private feeling being there. Lots of parking space as well. Keep in mind, they have two lots available, so if one is full, be sure to check the other as well. Restaurant where we had breakfast was great - girlfriend liked it very much. Did not dine there though, so can't share our experience on the menu. We needed a sewing kit during the stay and the receptionist was very helpful and provided what we needed. Thanks! Should we stay at Sigulda again, this place will definitely be on our check list :)

The place was wonderful! A very cute and cool style house! A relaxing sauna and a private terrace where you can spend time with your family. There were many interesting sights and activities nearby.
