As a special service the cook did take care that we got our car filled up at the gas station (because you never can be sure they have gas and are open!

It is regularly visited by elephants that you can spot really closely just by standing in the main area or at the restaurant. The rooms are super comfortable, food is high-quality and staff is very nice. We also did the rhino tracking and we managed to spot one rhino. The guides are really professional and the experience feels totally authentic.

The possibility to do a barbecue was very nice and there is a large fridge and all the necessary to cook. You can drive in the property with a permit and benefit from a walk with a guide who will explain more about geology and plants. Wifi is available only at the reception but works fine.

We appreciated Martin as a guide and his deep knowledge about flora and fauna in the area. we like the idea that the lodge is run by the community.
