Stunning island setting with view to Isletas and towards Mount Mombacho on the other side of the island. It felt magical as we were the sole visitors. The room was well appointed and luxurious. A shame our hi-tech shower had no hot water, for this price I expect a high end bathroom experience, the water was cold the mini bar was empty and no tea/coffee making facility. The staff however were friendly.

Isleta El Espino is a private island in Lake Nicaragua, just outside of the colonial city of Granada. It features an outdoor pool and a restaurant on site. Wish we could give more 'points'. This place was the most amazing and pleasant accommodation in the more than 2 weeks traveling in Nicaragua. Everything was just perfect. The location (one of the small islands -Isletas- on a 15 min boat trip away from Granada with only 4 other huts), the design (beautiful colors and functionality), the staff (during the afternoon/evening English and very kind/helpful), delicious food and free use of kayaks.

Offering a restaurant, El Maltese is located on the waterfront of Granada where you can enjoy a variety of activities from sailing to hiking with volcano views. Free WiFi access is available. Such a great Confort feeling. Breakfast was awesome. Great location

The room is probably the biggest we’ve had in the last 3 months of travel, it has air con and it’s super clean. The hosts are amazing people!!
