The facilities are exactly as on the pictures. It’s quite there’s free water and personally I love this type of architecture. The lady was very sweet with receiving me. She stayed up very late to make sure I could check in (i was arriving per shuttle from El Salvador). The next morning she did helped me out with a shuttle to gigante. She even saw me walking by (when I went for a walk) and took the effort the make sure I knew the hostel was here. Big family vibes, she reminded me of my grandmother. Pure gold heart. Would def recommend this place.

Featuring free WiFi in all areas, a restaurant and a year-round outdoor pool, Hotel El Convento is located 5 minutes’ walk from León Cathedral in the city centre. Room was spacious, clean and bed very comfortable. Swimming pool was refreshing and a nice place to relax. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent with a variety of fruits and other foods. Restaurant had the most delicious roasted chicken we’ve ever had. Add the beautiful garden in the centre courtyard and the historic nature of the place and you have a great stay.

At the hotel, each room includes a patio. super friendly staff who made a point to speak in clear, slow Spanish with us and were incredibly helpful with everything we needed or wanted. the house was a really nice colonial building that is much bigger than it seems from the pictures and from the street. great breakfast and a lovely garden and common areas. we extended our stay here we liked it so much.

Heidi at the front desk is the sweetest lady and very caring. Donna the manager or owner help me with understanding something in Spanish and was very nice. The people make this hotel Great.
