The location in perfect in downtown Alesund. The decoration and design of the lobby and seating areas are amazing. It looks like it was recently renovated with the famous Nordic design touch! Breakfast was very good.

This hotel was awesome. The room was perfect. It was large - 2 very nice swivel chairs! The room was much larger than we have been in Norway. Places to unload suitcase which I really appreciated. We did splurge on a view room and it looked to the city and water. So charming. In fact, every time we came into the room we were blown away by the view. The breakfast was very good. It was one of our best stays in Norway!

The location is great, right in the central part of town and bordering to the sea. The restaurant/breakfast seating area has a great view of the Ålesund port. We had one of the suits with a fantastic view of the sea and nearby islands. The bathroom was huge and had both a big tub and a separate shower. Breakfast was also great, with a big seating area and huge selection of food. The staff was very helpful. There's also a really nice outside seating area with a view of the Ålesund bay area where you can enjoy a drink or two. In general this hotel has great value for your money. There's free parking (for about 5 or 6 cars) right outside the hotel.

Excellent breakfast! Free parking and large lot. Walking distance to the village center.
