Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. Friendly staff... super clean... middle of the mountains. awesome

I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

This family-owned mountain lodge is set in the Bøverdal Valley, 25 km from Jotunheimen National Park. It offers an in-house restaurant, private art gallery and individually decorated rooms. The common areas are very comfortable. The outdoor areas were also nice, lots of flowers.

The staff and owner were available and helpful, and ensure I had anything I needed. The room was simple and comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The fireplace in the lobby area was great.

Beautiful and peaceful setting overlooking the fjord. Spotlessly clean, great kitchen with everything you could need. Made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Would loved to have stayed longer to explore the area.
