Located in Manakau, Manakau House The Old Manakau Hotel 1920 features a shared lounge, garden and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. You can't judge a book by its cover! The inside of this historic hotel was charming, comfortable and quiet. The host gave my friend and me private rooms even though we booked a shared room because we were to get only guests in the hotel. She was very kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend - especially if you like historic buildings.

The room has been very clean and cosy. The beach is not so close but worth a visit. The fish and chips there were very good.

Very nice hosts on property, but also a very private and quiet stay. Wonderful beach access on our doorstep as well as an nice private outdoor area. BBQ and spa very clean.
