A Place in the Paddock is situated in Matamata and offers a garden. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. A Place in the Paddock was lovely! The surroundings of the farm and nature was really serene and it was comfortable to relax ourselves as it was away from the crowd and noise (much more peaceful than the cities). We enjoyed the view very much and even got to see the farm animals from afar, such as the cows marching at dawn and the rabbit stealing some lettuce; how cute!! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect (it was wet and dreary), we still enjoyed having a stroll around the farm and snapping photos at every opportunity. The apartment was large and cozy, with fragrance (and a cow theme which is cute) in every room, even the toilet! We even got the chance to bring a book home from the collection, but it was a pity that none caught our interest :( (I did like the 100 Wonders of the World, though…)

We stayed here before our visit to Hobbiton. It was about a 10 minute drive from here, which was perfect for the second breakfast tour. Everything was clean and comfortable. From our room we had a beautiful view of the countryside and the sunset.

Walnut Lodge B&B offers accommodation in Matamata. Every room at this bed and breakfast is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV. Our hosts were wonderful. Friendly but let us hav our space and so helpful even giving us a lift into town for our event so we didn't have to drive in and could relax and enjoy the night. The breakfast delivered each afternoon for the next day swas simple but really nice.

Central Motor Lodge is located on Morrinsville's main street within 250 metres of local shops, restaurants and bars. Accommodation options include spacious rooms and stylish suites with modern décor. This motel would be one of the cleanest I have ever stayed at. So nice to stay

Built in 1977, The Nunnery is located in central Te Aroha and offers a guest lounge and a shared patio with BBQ facilities. It is a 2-minute walk from the Te Aroha Mineral Spas. Thank you for the warm welcome!

It absolutely exceeded my expectations for a motel. The room was perfect and there was 5 of us. (3 Adults, 1 teen and 3yr old) The BEST sleep I've had in a very long time. Comfy soft beds with lots of warm bedding. It literally has Everything you need. The play area outside is so good for the kids. The free spa was perfect. The man running the place is lovely. Can't fault it.
