Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodation located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. The rooms very modern and clean! The kitchen area was well stocked and the bathroom had great soaps and had a fantastic shower and tub. The best part however was having the huge window that had a stunning view of mount Cook!! Just amazing!! Also having laundry available was great! (Does cost $4 for wash, $5 for dry but really nice quick machines!) Beds were comfortable and location was awesome. Only a 3 min drive or a 25 min walk to Hook Valley Trail. (And 5 min drive to Mt Cook airport for Heli adventures) Great walking trails behind the hotel as well and several decent food options around the area.

Situated in Mount Cook National Park and offering beautiful mountain views, Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge is a 5-minute walk from Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre. Beautiful view, good location and common kitchen is good as well

Haka House Aoraki Mt Cook er staðsett í Suður-Ölpunum, 200 metrum frá Sir Edmund Hillary-alpamiðstöðinni og býður upp á útsýni yfir Mount Cook. An amazing hostel and location! It reminded me of the hostel in Liechtenstein - well cleaned and spacious for each person. Massive kitchen area with proper recycling bins. Absolutely loved the quiet area and access to the sauna was just amazing after the hikes! Great for stargazing too! The rooms had enough space for luggage storage and curtain to avoid disturbance. Haka house provided shower gels, shampoo and conditioner in all their bathrooms which was great!

Glentanner Park er sumarhúsabyggð og afþreyingarmiðstöð sem býður upp á gistirými á viðráðanlegu verði og víðáttumikið útsýni yfir Aoraki Mount Cook og Mount Cook-þjóðgarðinn. Not so many people during the first night, there is a toilet and a sink in the dorm so that's good. A good surprise, they provide a towel for all the guests. It's quite rare to see that for backpackers. I drove from Picton to Glentanner (8 hours drive) it's really good that they let you do a late check-in. It's not completely indicated in their description but they let your key in the mailbox with the instruction.

The location of the huts was outstanding. Although a long drive on a dirt road that distance was easily made up for by the hosts, view and overall facilities.

What an exceptional location?! Such a privilege for the Mt Cook Station family to let us share a taste of their stunning corner of the island on this busy working farm. Tucked away from all the Mt Cook tourism and yet seemingly within touching distance of Aoraki. Spectacular views on the drive in - along almost the full length of the east coast of beautiful Lake Pukaki..the approach from Lake Tekapo if you drive 'over the top' is pretty special as the vistas gradually open up to the west as you come across. The Shearers' quarters are clean and tidy ..well appointed and comfortable with fab cooking facilities and great hot showers. Access to some wonderful walks on the property with astonishing views across to Aoraki. Alana is clearly very proud of her business and is a warm engaging host. Just be aware...you are WELL OFF the beaten track here. That's the joy of Mt Cook Shearers' quarters.
