For the private waterfall, the quirky and heartwarming handmade details all around the grounds, the nightsky, feeding trouts, hearing blue ducks, or the room with costumes, but most importantly for feeling this unique spot between nature and garden. It is so peaceful and quiet it is absolutely mind-boggling.

We were told on arrival that they were fully booked and the manager didn’t know how we were allowed to book the stay through Booking.com, we are so glad and grateful that the manager was able to shuffle some other guests around so we could have a room

Snowman Lodge and Spa is centrally located in the town centre of Ohakune which is the gateway to Ski Ruapehu, Turoa, Whakapapa and the famous Tongariro National Park. Place was on the money, perfect location, very cozy, heater was on in the room for when we were checked in.

Two Rivers Ohakune features free WiFi and views of mountain in Ohakune. The accommodation features ski storage space, a drying room and a hot tub. Guests can enjoy river views. Great location, quiet and fab views of mountain. Chris was very helpful with recommendations and help. High quality fixtures - hot tub went down well. Liked the breakfast arrangement and snacks.
