Built in 1865 and restored in 1902, Otira Stagecoach Hotel is located in the heart of the Arthur's Pass National Park. It offers antiques throughout as well as stagecoaches and horse wagons outside. A unique, 'out of the box' experience. The hotel is a living museum, with antique paraphernalia and curios everywhere. The furniture in the rooms is amazing. Feels like you have stepped back in time to the 1800s. Lester and Sam were excellent as hosts. Meals were great quality and value. The bar (available to in-house guests only) offered beer and wine at reasonable prices. There's not too much accommodation in the Otira / Arthur's Pass area with dining and bar facilities, so the Stagecoach Hotel fills a valuable niche.

Boasting stunning views of mountains, river and the valley, Bealey Hotel is within a 30-minute drive of 5 ski fields. It offers a restaurant, barbecue facilities and free on-site parking. Room was spacious, very clean and had an amazing view of snow-capped mountains. Beds were luxuriously comfortable. Everything was as new and in immaculate condition. Great for even the fussiest of people. The continental breakfast was much better than expected and included cold meats, cheese and boiled eggs as well as a wide range of cereal, with preserver fruit and yoghurt, not to mention coffee and a choice of several fruit juices.

The Tussocks, Arthur's Pass is a recently renovated vacation home in Arthur's Pass, near Arthur's Pass National Park. The location and parking are very convenient. The apartment space and four rooms are very suitable for us. All the things in the kitchen are enough for us. Besides, the shower is very comfortable. We enjoy to stay here very much.

My stay in the Moa cabin was outstanding—cozy, warm in winter, and inviting. Location wise, you can easily drive across all the hotspots along Arthur's Pass. The reception was welcoming, providing clear directions. Clean shared kitchen and bathrooms made for a pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

The view and the extremely comfortable bed, it’s so much better in real than in the picture, very tastefully designed

Basic, Super 'Cosy' Cabin in The Middle of National Park and Mountains is located in Otira, just 7.3 miles from Devil’s Punchbowl Falls and 7.8 miles from Arthur's Pass Train Station. Really well located, cute hut. Had helpful amenities which we weren’t expecting! Hosts were lovely and helpful!

Located in Arthur's Pass, within a 17-minute walk of Devil’s Punchbowl Falls and 700 yards of Arthur's Pass Train Station, Mountain House provides accommodations with a shared lounge and free WiFi... The hostel was so clean! The beds were fresh and cozy. The upstairs lounge area has a tea & coffee station - with milk which was a lovely touch. It's right in the centre of the village too. Would definitely stay again (:
