Hawea Hotel is located just 15 minutes' drive from the township of Wanaka and is set on the lake front of Lake Hawea. The Hawea hotel surprised us in terms of the view from the room. It's a quaint little hotel in a sleepy town with gorgeous view that cannot be described in words or captured on a camera. It overlooks the Hawea lake with a mountain backdrop. The restaurant is also pretty amazing with good food options and a view that makes eating there a pleasure in itself. Will highly recommended it.

Edgewater is located in Wānaka, only 1.2 mi from Wānaka town center. The property offers picturesque lake views, rolling green lawns, spas, a sauna, and a tennis court. Excellent view from room, clean and spacious. Reception staff were so helpful.

Located less than a 1-minute walk from the center of Wanaka, Wanaka Hotel is a 1-minute walk from the lake and town center. Most accommodations offers views over the lake and mountains. Nice “old style” resort hotel, near the lake and all restaurants and bars. Friendly staff, good parking, updated bathroom, good size room and balcony. Not sure why it’s only a 3 star, way better than some 4 star hotels.

Located on 10 acres of gardens, Golfcourse Road Chalets and Lodge with lovely lake, mountain or golf course views. Comfortable bed, plenty of space, good parking, friendly owner.

Wanaka Lake Studio (New) offers accommodations in Wanaka, 1.2 miles from The Wanaka Tree and 22 miles from Cardrona. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation offers a patio. The communication from the owner was fantastic and the room absolutely lovely. I truly wish we could have stayed there longer!

Marina Terrace, Wanaka is a recently renovated apartment in Wanaka where guests can make the most of its pool with a view, spa and wellness center, and fitness center. I love the interior design especially the living area where you could see from window the marina view of lake Wānaka. The outside seating area looks amazing, although we didn’t use it much. The overall experience was beyond my expectations. I enjoyed the hospitality with well equipped kitchen, the kitchenware, and the washing machine. The electric appliance is new and well kept. Not to mention, we can enjoy Netflix movies and TV series during the stay. It was a short walk to the lake Wānaka and town center. Thanks to Lee & Claire for your lovely home.

The apartment was very private, behind main house, with well-equipped kitchen, laundry, and clean bedroom + bathroom. Felt cozy. Location within walking distance of the Wanaka tree and downtown restaurants.
