Situated in the heart of Tongariro National Park, Skotel Alpine Resort offers a restaurant, a hot tub and a terrace bar with a fireplace. Most accommodations boast stunning mountain or region views. The location was incredible! The staff was very friendly. The facilities seemed a bit older, but mostly quite clean.

Duty manager Swapnil and receptionist Rajneet were really friendly and helpful to make my birthday trip amazing! Casey in the restaurant was really friendly as well, we had a perfect stay!

Pool was exquisite, room right on lakefront packed with fab goodies like robes and all Sky channels. Staff were very accomodating, great coffee, perfect beds!

Located on the shore, the Lakefront Lodge Taupo offers spectacular lake views and free WiFi access. It has an outdoor swimming pool. Great location across from the lake. The safari theme was cool especially the blanket on the bed.
