It was a gem that I stayed in en route from Kaikoura to Arthur's pass in a very cosy ensuite room. It was decorated really nicely and they left a lovely gluten free breakfast for me in the small self-contained kitchen area for the morning. I had this on the little chairs/tables outside while having a cuddle with their friendly dog. Also treated myself to the use of a dressing gown. If you need to stay in Rangiora then I'd definitely recommend Ra-ata farm!

We were made to feel so welcome. We did not have a car so the host very kindly gave us lifts to the bus stop and even into Christchurch for our early bus to Queenstown. We were unable to get out for meals but the hosts invited us to eat with them for a very reasonable price. Great food and great company. Beautiful garden with stream and secret hanging chairs to enjoy and relax in.
