Bambuda Lodge is located in the tropical rain forest in Bocas del Toro. The property features a coral reef off its dock and a swimming pool with an on-site bar and a fun and social atmosphere. Bambuda Lodge is the PERFECT place to stay if you're looking to relax, have fun and connect with other people. Stop looking for other places because you won't find anything better, just book it. The views here are absolutely fantastic, the staff is so welcoming and friendly and they're going to make your life heaven. Victor, Sebastian, Marco and all the people working here will make you want to extend your stay and come back! The food options are always varied, reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. The drinks are also great and they have Happy Hour with different stuff daily, along with daily activities every day. If you like always exploring, you will have to pay for the boat to other islands every time($5 to the main island one-way) so it can easily build up on the cost, but it's the same in all area. This place is remote so take that into consideration when setting up your expectations for that. If you like touristic areas full of resorts, restaurants and stuff nearby, this is NOT for you. If you want to chill, stay in a remote place and feel its magic, then this is IT!

We truly enjoyed our stay in Aquí hoy. The room is very clean and you have everything you need there. We loved the calm and peaceful atmosphere there and mainly... The food... We both are vegetarians and the chef was cooking the most delicious food we ever had. Thank you very much for all your care.

Suyi and JJ are fantastic hosts, always inquiring if we needed anything, always a text away. The property itself is spacious and lovely, with a wide, panoramic balcony that overlooks the bay and most of Old Bridge. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to buy basic things (rice, oil, tortillas, canned meats and veg) at the store less than 10 minutes away. It was lovely to be in nature and yet not too far away from amenities. Solid internet, not too speedy but reliable and plenty good for being on a fairly remote island.

The place offers access to the sea and at the same time a stay in the jungle, a generous terrace with a restaurant lies practically in the treetops. We also took advantage of the offer of dinners, we were satisfied. The owners offer to rent kayaks, snorkels with goggles. They can also arrange trips and advise on what activities can be undertaken.

We loved our super friendly, open, fun and helpful hosts, Brian and Daniel, who have made us truly feel at ease and among friends in this beautiful place. Most nights we ate dinner together, since Dan cooks the most amazing and varied dishes, all from fresh, local ingredients, while Brian makes wonderful cocktails that made us feel at home and among friends, sharing stories, dreams and travel adventures. We loved the pool and the common area (living and dining room), as well as our amazing suite, the delicious and fresh meals and the smiles. Thank you. It was one of the most amazing experiences ever.
