I wanted order taxi, unexpectable parking place or any advice about Ponta Delgada - no problem. Free water, lemonade etc. Fantastic pool at the top and bar. Everything was amazing. Best regards for reception workers and room service which bring me tasty cookies every day :-)

Hotel Arcanjo is housed in a 19th century building that combines traditional and modern design. It is ideally situated 50 metres away from the beachfront, south of the São Miguel Island. Very clean room and comfy bed. The breakfast was good and also the private parking just next to the hotel. The staff was one of the nicest people I’ve met while travelling. There is a Continente supermarket very close, although not walking distance.

The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. This was a great experience from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The pools in particular are amazing and we really appreciated that they are open 24h/day so we could have a late night swim under the stars.
