You get a mixed experience, both very modern technology, and a feeling that you stay in a place with hundreds of years of history. The owner, mr. Peter, an amazing host, very focused on delivering a high quality experience for his guests. A variety of their own food & beverages were served on the breakfast, (apple juice with ginger was fantastic), wich adds value to the experience of fitting in the experience of an authentic traditional Slovenian cousine. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. I must say that the interior design in all the location has the signature of a professional or someone really passionate with a high sense of good and sophisticated taste.

The hosts were friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and it was the evening of the May Day holidays. The host met us promptly and directed us to the few places in town where we could get dinner. We instantly felt at home. The rooms were large and well-appointed. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

Very nice and friendly staff, rooms are pretty large and regularly cleaned. Great breakfast choice, also food (lunch/dinner) is very tasty in restaurant.

Hotel Korosica is peacefully situated in Dravograd in the center of 3 valleys. The completely air-conditioned hotel provides free Wi-Fi and guarded parking. We were warmly welcomed on arrival, and allowed to put our bicycles in a safe place in the (unused) cafe area We had a very nice vegan meal in the dining room. What made our stay exceptional was the way we were looked after the next day, as overnight devastating floods swept through the whole region, and we were trapped by deep water and swift (and deadly) currents swirling all around the hotel. Water and electricity were cut off, so no lighting, toilets, showers or wifi. The staff went out of their way to look after us despite the heartbreaking mess the water was making to the lower floor of the hotel (a foot deep in places). After we were evacuated by emergency services the staff looked after the bikes and luggage we had to leave behind, until we could collect it a few days later. We will never forget the generosity of the hotel people, and the people of Dravogradu, for looking after two Australian tourists when there was so much chaos all around, and we hope that the hotel gets back to normal as soon as possible.
