Nice (warm) water and amazing views.. the bungalows were very good with a nice view and all basics (safe, frigerator, airco). Nice staff and good service. The resort was a walking distance from the main road with restaurants. Only one we found with a good selection of vegetarian food (food art hut) about 20 minutes walk.

Rezort Makathanee sa nachádza na ostrove Koh Mak a ponúka priamy prístup na krásnu pláž Ao Kratueng. Izby a vonkajší bazén sú obklopené tropickými udržiavanými záhradami. I love the staff and how they took care of me to make my stay special. Nicest people ever. Thank you for giving me rides to the other parts of the island and for running such a friendly resort. Jake have made this place amazing! The bungalows are so cool and comfy and have the best view on the island. Could wake up there everyday. You need a scooter to get to town and around the island, but Jake rent those out to you and even teach you how to ride them. You can also walk to the town through the beach when there is low tide which takes around 15 minutes. I would not chose any other place to stay, you don't need to read about any other places than this :-) Thank you Jake & Co. for making our time the best!

Fantastic accommodation on Koh Mak. The rooms are great, with comfortable beds, air conditioning and toiletries. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a lovely garden in front of the rooms where you can sit and sunbathe. It is walking distance from the speedboat pier from Koh Chang, though the hotel staff will meet you at the pier and bring you to the accommodation. You can walk to lots of restaurants, cafes, massage and kiosks from here. Cheap and easy scooter rental from the accommodation also. Overall, it is a great base to explore the island, where it is quiet, central and also away from the sand flies at the beaches.

Seavana Koh Mak Beach Resort má súkromnú pláž pozdĺž zálivu Suanyai, ponúka bazén, upokojujúce masáže a plážové služby. Útulné ubytovacie jednotky majú výhľad na more. Came for a second time to Seavana. The team is still amazing, the hotel offers very spacious rooms. Breakfast is included and good. Located on the best beach of Koh Mak. Ubytovanie Koh Mak Garden View sa nachádza 2,3 km od miesta Pláž Ao Soun Yai Beach. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, terasu a spoločnú kuchyňu. The whole small complex is beautiful and the pictures on Booking.com don't do it any justice at all. The bed linine and towels were changed regularly and there are washing machines here to wash clothes and feel fresh again. There us nothing to dislike about this plave and great value for money. A/C in rooms is superb too. The gardens area is big and beautiful. 10/10 for me

If you're considering a trip to Koh Mak, this is your ideal stay! The location is excellent since the island is small, allowing you to reach any destination within a maximum of 15 minutes on a motorbike. This place offers privacy and a personal retreat when you want to step back from the communal island life. The facilities truly stand out. Upon arrival, I was captivated by the expansive outdoor area, which includes a large patio right on the beach and a spacious balcony with a big dining table (perfect for game nights and inviting new friends over). There’s even an outdoor bed to relax on after a day at the beach. The room itself is quite large, comfortable, and surrounded by big windows that offer panoramic sea views. The bathroom is adequately sized with hot water, and basic toiletries are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Moreover, the landlady, So (Natida), is wonderful. Booking this place not only means a great stay but also getting to know So. She goes above and beyond—from arranging bike rentals delivered right to your door to handling your laundry and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. So is always there for her guests, genuinely caring about your experience and offering help whenever needed. She's truly a special person. Note that I initially planned to stay for 14 days and ended up extending it to 45 days. That’s how perfect this place and the island are!
