Dar Ayed Tamezret features a garden, bar, barbecue facilities and shared lounge in Tamezret. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Beautiful hotel (they thought of everything here!) with staff who are kind and helpful. Very nice Tunisian breakfast provided. We also had a very tasty vegetarian dinner. Too cold at this time of year to avail ourselves of the pool, but it, too, looked beautiful, with spectacular views over the surrounding area.

Maison d'hôtes DAR DRISS is situated in Matmata. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. It s a perfect place for visiting Matmata and make trips to Sahara or other berber villages. It s clean, nice rooms, confortable and Jamal &Rabia are the perfect host and very helpful with everything we needed. They give us good advise on what to visit and also Jamel was our guide to Sahara.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Gabès, Dar almasyaf, maison bord de mer features a garden. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The host was very responsive and extremely kind in wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The house is lovely and exactly as described in the photo. We also found fruit and water upon arrival. The location was very quiet and close to the sea and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it for a stay in Gabes.

Located in Tamezret in the Gabes region, Auberge de Tamezret features a patio. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. This is by far one of the most special places we’ve been to. I read a review where one said it was worth the 500 km detour from Tunis, I’ll give you a better one: it’s worth a 4000 km detour from Amsterdam! The setting, the views, the amazing rooms, the village itself, the location, the hospitality and company and above all, the delicious dinner and breakfast. It was perfect from start to finish.
