The staff was very friendly and helpful. We brought some food from outside, they allowed us to use their dining room and even helped us to heat up the food.

Very friendly and helpful owner. It's located in a somehow remote area which is peaceful and quiet. The location is amazingly beautiful, in the middle of the rice fields. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable (to European standards). AC worked well and quiet. We could use the bicycles for free. Breakfast was nice with a beautiful view.

I used Luye as a base for exploring the whole area, by foot as well as by car. If you have car, it is a better option than to stay in Taitung. Not so much restorants in walking distance.
