We booked this hotel because my family want to take a holiday to visit Takoro National Park while in Taiwan. We arrived and departed on the train and was able to arrange the staff to drive us between the train station and the hotel since we are a family of 5. The complementary breakfasts were great with interesting and delicious food and good selection for everyone in the family. There were also complementary drinks and crackers during the day after breakfast which was great after a day of exploring the national park. The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The complementary washing machine and dryer was really useful because we have small children which tend to be messy. We also tried the Sunrise restaurant attached to the hotel the last night and the food quality was very high. The staffs were really friendly and helpful and even the two cats on the premise were very friendly. We would miss the breakfasts on the deck with the cats and the great food for years to come.

I met a staff at a stand serving Tainan’s steam rice was superb, who served the dish and made a brief introduction to me. She was doing a great job.

The Moment Hotel Hualien by Lakeshore ligger i Shunan, inom 3 minuters promenad från Manbo-stranden och 18 km från Pine Garden. Lots to like. Clean, comfortable. We put our family of 7 in a room that sleeps 8. Shared bathroom was super clean with private stalls and toilets. They also had a dog hotel for around $30 a night for the pooch. Had a fully stocked kitchen that we did not use but looked amazing.

花蓮星晟棧飯店Starry Inn近太平洋新城車站 erbjuder 4-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i Xincheng och har trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass. Really near Xincheng TRA, like literally visible from the exit. We booked here cos we wanted to have easy access to buses headed to Taroko for our trails. It's quite a distance from xincheng old street (where most of the eateries are) but you'll find a lot of good food if you're willing to walk (10-15mins) towards the stretch near 7-eleven or family mart. STARRY Inn provides breakfast & they try not to repeat depending on the number of days you stay, do let them know of your food restrictions. Staff were extremely helpful and kind! The lady boss even ran to the train platform to catch us when she found my dad's iPod left in the room after our check out!!! So so thankful for their hospitality and kindness!

I went by train and was pleasantly surprised how close it is to the train station. The check in process was quick and easy. Staff were super friendly, forthcoming with useful information, and tiredlessly answered all my questions. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated to give off a relaxing vibe. I particularly liked the fact it has a dinning area so I can enjoy drinks and my late night supper. Coming back to this place at the end of the day felt like coming home, welcomed by staff and chatting with them about my day, it just felt nice. Aside from the cafe in the same building, there are convenient stores, breakfast places, and lots of other places to eat nearby.
