The bed was comfortable, the towels were fluffy, there were flannel sheets on the bed, and an interesting coffee-making system that brewed strong coffee. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Located in the town of Big Pine,one hour away from Mount Whitney and the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest. Starlight Motel features BBQ facilities and free WiFi throughout the property. Friendly owner offered cold bottle of water up front, gave good hints for eating and surrounding sightseeing. New furnished room was comfortable. Hot springs close by. Excellent starting point to explore ancient bristle cone pine area (easy ride in 3/4 of an hour on paved roads) at 9000ft elevation.

Located along scenic Highway 395, Independence Courthouse Motel is just 5 minutes’ walk from Inyo County Eastern California Museum. Guests can take advantage of free WiFi and BBQ facilities. Management was nice, very friendly. We got to check in early. Room was very comfortable. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Location was extremely convenient for getting in and out.

Just off of US 395, less than a 20-minute drive from Bishop, this motel features a gas station and convenience store on site. The rooms include free Wi-Fi. The place is perfect! Amazing atmosphere!
