Great location for access to the route for Rocky Mountain National Park. A short drive to grocery store, and other services in town. Staff was helpful with suggestions for our stay. Also, the restaurant on site was great! If you want the experience of a cookie-cutter bland hotel chain, this is not your hotel--however, if you want to experience a historical lodge with wood floors, antique furniture, and learning about the family history of this mountain lodge and mountain memorabilia, then the Crags Lodge is the respite you are looking for.

It was our first time in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park, and we made this hotel our basecamp which was the best decision. The location is perfect, not far from the busy areas but still won't miss the action. Our room was big and comfortable and all facilities were in good shape. The staff at the front desk was always helpful, gave us very nice recommendations in what to do. Thank you for making our experience memorable!

I loved the river, fire pit with free wood, and the hot tub. The beds were super comfortable which I’ve never had before at other hotels and the shower was roomy. Safeway and Rocky Mountain National Park are both within 5 minutes drive. There are places to walk right outside the inn that are beautiful. The owner was awesome, the coffee he left for us in the room was top notch and he has a great attention to detail.

Our newly renovated room was very comfortable and quiet and having access to a heated outdoor pool was a real bonus. There are some great restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance and a supermarket and petrol station just across the street. One of the main entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park is less than a 5min drive away too. The motel is flagged as a 2* property but it's much better than that!

The hotel is really close to the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was nice after hiking around all day to not have to drive an hour to get to our beds. The town is very cute and has lots of places to eat and get ice cream as well as souvenirs. Walking around town was a nice end to the day. We saw more big animals in town than in the park. The views from the room were very nice as well.

Location was ideal. Less than 2 miles on the entrance road to Rocky Mountain National Park. Minutes from downtown Estes Park and the Stanley Hotel. On the side of Deer Mountain with incredible views of the mountain and into the valley of downtown. Phenomenal location and picturesque view. Just ideal. Also very large home with plenty of space to spread your family out.

Location was excellent - short walk (5-10 mins) to downtown Estes Park restaurants, pubs, and shops. Short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Room was small but clean. Perfect size for what we needed- just somewhere to stage our gear, rest our head, and get outside! If you plan on spending most of your time outdoors, the room size shouldn't be a problem.

The location was perfect for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel was great. Very comfortable and the chairs on the porch and fire pit was a great addition after a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in 5 different hotels and by far this is the one we wish we had stayed longer in.

The proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and the charming town of Estes Park is great! The very best part of our stay was observing the astounding elk herds right in town, and right outside the hotel. We were awakened at midnight by a bull elk bellowing right outside our private deck--fantastic!!

Can't beat the location. About 15-20 minutes from entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Chris and Lisa are awesome! Sat out with them by the firepit both nights we were there. Had great conversations. They're super-nice and happy to share info about things to do around the area.

Beautiful rooms in an amazing location on the river close to Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff went above and beyond and were super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our first room, they upgraded us at no charge to a better room without hesitation. Superior customer service.

The only Pros is it is near to Rocky Mountain national park. We did not like the Hotel room and services as per Room charge . Bed was very uncomfortable. Also they need to improve their customer service attitude. There are many better options available in Estes park so choose wisely.

Everything, room was great, breakfast was good, and the location was good. Not far from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. The time of year we were there the elk were all around the hotel. Very nice yard area with games or sit and relax.

The location is pretty good. It is close to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. I also like that it seems very safe. The office door was always open with no one in there. You pick up and drop off the key and supplies you need.

Amazing Hotel! The cabin was awesome, super clean, kitchen had everything we need, beds and towels were confortable, no mosquitoes… Absolutely perfect. Perfectly located outside the Rocky Mountain National Park Beaver Meadows entrance.

the location is excellent for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, and we found Estes Village quaint and charming and a fun little visit. some great restaurants in the area, and the views of the mountains are incredible.

Beautiful stunning views from the room. It was very easy to get to. Very close to tge Rocky Mountain National Park and the grocery store. Great value for the money. Apartments are spacious and private. Very comfortable.

Quaint, spacious room. Comfortable bedding. Great location near entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Only at hotel one night and arrived late evening. Reception was nice and helpful. Would stay there again.

Room was spacious with a great view. Everything was very clean. Room was much more comfortable than the typical hotel room for our family of 5. It was close to Rocky Mountain National Park.

Great location just outside of Estes Park and close to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance as well as great hiking trails. The apartment was well stocked and clean.
