You can buy some good wood and BBQ grill kits from them and cook your own dinner! The location is great too as it's 10 min away from the nearest town and about 45 min away from the Yosemite entrance

Located 24 km away from Yosemite National Park South Entrance, Best Western Plus Yosemite Gateway Inn features an outdoor and an indoor pool. All of guest rooms feature free WiFi. The entire stay was great --- the staff, the room, the breakfast and dinner experience.... would definitely stay again.

Located off the Southern Highway 41 Entrance to Yosemite, this California hotel boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and hot tub, has suites with free Wi-Fi and offers a Hot Continental Breakfast. immaculate clean, high quality furniture and toiletries, very spacious room (we stayed in family suite) with dining set, very comfortable bed and quality bedding, tasteful decor, reasonable price, heating unit was much quieter compared to other places we stayed in, I will not hesitate to come back. Also location is easy in and out to the highway and there is plenty parking space. There is a small pool which we did not use. Checkout is at noon, which allows plenty of time for packing. In other places checkout was 10 or 11 am and we felt rushed every time.

Located in the Sierra Foothills adjacent to Mariposa Arts Park, this hotel is 32 miles from the west entrance of Yosemite National Park which provides access to the valley floor and waterfalls. the location was great, just an hour drive to Yosemite. the room was comfortable and clean, but it had a bit of a smell - it could also use some renovation.

Great customer service from Forest when there was a fault with our room door & my husband couldn't get in, tried all avenues, and got him a room free of charge. Just wanted to say thank you to all staff involved, including Amanda. Staff recommended great places to eat and the rooms are very clean & comfortable. Hotel is near Yosemite which we highly recommend seeing; and to do a day tour with Discover Yosemite. Would happily stay here again.
