The hotel is very old with a lot of historical artefacts and decoration, which makes it the perfect atmosphere if you're here on the road to the battlefields. The facilities are a bit old but still decent and the room was more comfortable then it first looked. A few attentions in the room, not necessarily expected from such a big hotel.

The room was fresh, clean, comfortable and big enough. The breakfast was to die for.

Our entire stay was magical! Huge shout out to our game drive guide, Joe, who went above and beyond for us! He made this trip the best! The facilitate are fantastic and the food is incredible. Everyone is so welcoming and they make you feel so special. Don't forget to get a massage here. They are heavenly!

In a perfect location, the amazing view overlooking the vast valley from the deck is all to yourself, where they set up the dinner for us. Each one of the meals were all very satisfying , just the right taste And not to mention, the superb Safari experience guided by experienced team, who knows it all. We saw a big herd elephants, cheetah hunting, brother lions eating their prey! This indeed luxury lodge of exquisite taste is yet cozy with very hearty hospitality.

We got married here!! And the chalets are awesome, loved the layout. The view in the morning is breathtaking with the surrounding mountains.

great individual accommodation where everything has been thought of. Fire lit in the room on cold nights with bed turned down and electric blanket on. I felt so spoilt view of dam with the resident hippo absolute luxury

Me and my family enjoyed the pools, The room was very clean, and the staff was great.

Our initial booking was at Patterson B&B but we wanted a self catering unit, Mr Mohomed was kind enough to move us to a self catering unit at 32 Beardall. Our room was clean and well prepared. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. We also had wifi, a smart tv and an aircon. The place is very well secured with enough space for car parking. We really enjoyed our stay.

Not only was the bed comfortable, staff and management were fantastic. Beautiful breakfasts and the recommendation to a local place for tea the manager rang the restaurant who looked after us when we arrived. Very clean, easy to get to.

What a perfect retreat. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were greeted by all staff by name. The food was delicious. The gin bar had a great selection and the game drives wonderful.
