We were just driving through and needed a place to stay. The hostess was lovely and accommodating. The unit is fully equipped nice kitchen, braai and the rooms are comfy with a backup generator. As a bonus (if you like animals) there were donkeys sheep and chickens to hang out with. Would stay there again anytime.

La habitación está genial porque es espaciosa y está decorada con mucho detalle, pero lo mejor es que tenía una manta eléctrica que para los días de frío que estamos, nos fue estupendamente. Cabe decir que Lidia nos ubicó en una habitación mejor de la que habíamos reservado, lo que es de agradecer! Volveríamos sin lugar a dudas! :)

We stopped in Swellendam on our way from the airport to the Garden Route, so the location was not a destination for us. The Upper Deck was welcoming, clean, and relaxing. We appreciated the spacious apartment, with much more to offer than we needed in terms of utensils and household items. The upper deck itself (outside the apartment) has cozy seating and would be something we would enjoy on a longer stay, but we did not spend enough time on this trip. We slept well, despite some slight occasional noise from the road. The breakfast was delicious, including hot items, and got us ready for the day.
