Set in Paarl, 2.8 km from Boschenmeer Golf Course, Laborie Estate offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. The room was beautifully renovated and decorated, the heated bathroom floor was a real bonus during the freezing weather. We dined at both Stoep and Suzanne restaurants and both experiences exceeded our expectations. The a la carte breakfast selection was creative and very well executed. As beautiful as the property is, it‘s ultimately the staff who can "make or break“ a place. What a pleasure it was to find an establishment where all the staff we encountered were exceptionally polite and helpful, from security guards at the gate, groundskeepers, reception, waitering staff and housekeeping. Thank you and well done Laborie!

In the heart of the Franschhoek village, the elegant Chapter House Boutique Hotel offers an outdoor pool overlooking the Franschhoek Mountains. Our stay was more than excellent! The suites were gorgeous and the staff went above and beyond to meet our requests! No question was too much. The only negative point is that they do not have a backup for load shedding. And when in stage 6, that could be useful. But, when the new building is ready, they should have solar panels and a battery. Would recommend Chapter House immediately!!! And if we go back to Franschhoek, it surely will be in Chapter House!
