Located in Mooiriver, Hartford House provides 5-star hotel accommodation with valley views of the Drakensberg. The Hartford House is such a beautiful hotel. After the renovation even more. The massive land as far as the eye can see is so incredible. To watch the horses is stunning. our cottage was so lovely. most comfortable bed and highest quality linen. the bathroom was so huge! lovely! amazing food! Big congratulations to the chef for his delicious creations. and a hurray for the bartender for the Whiskey Sour! a massive thank you to all the staff who welcomed us so friendly and provided the best possible service! we can’t wait to come back again ! ❤️

Bosch Hoek Golf & Lodge is located in Balgowan, 100 metres from Boschhoek Club House. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The staff were superb, and extremely attentive. The lodge and rooms were beautifully appointed and comfortable.

Set in the heart of the Midlands, Halliwell Country Inn is located 14 km from Howick and 5km from Curry’s Post. This historic property is over 180 years old. Amazing staff, super comfortable rooms and great food. The selection for vegetarians / vegans on a super menu was appreciated. The mushroom risotto was delicious. The complimentary sherry in the room was a nice touch.

Located in the heart of the Natal Midlands, ANEW Hotel Hilton Pietermaritzburg offers elegantly decorated rooms and free WiFi. Just 12 km away from Pietermaritzburg, it features an outdoor pool. Staff assisted in sorting rooms although there was an error in the booking

Situated within 12 km from Mooi River, surrounded by meadows, Midlands Saddle and Trout offers an array of activities from fishing, mini golf and horse riding. The rooms were really nice and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Nottingham Road Hotel is a historical landmark known as Notties by many generations of locals. It is situated in the village of Nottingham Road, in the heart of the Midlands Meander. The breakfast was made to order and we ate a few dinners in the restaurant and bar. The food is tasty and the bar was lots of fun. We enjoyed hanging out in the garden (when it wasn't raining) and the atmosphere was great. The frotn of house crew were really helpful with advice on where to go and what to do.
