The service was top notch. Everyone was helpful and answered any requests we had. We had half board and though previous comments said that the food was not good, I beg to differ. The breakfast was ample with lots of buffet options (hot and cold) as well as the menu (you could order omelets, and other items off the menu). Frappes and Fredo espressos were not problem. The setting at breakfast was beautiful overlooking the pool and ocean. One of the previous comments said that there weren't any Greek offerings at dinner. Being Greek-American, I thought the inclusive dinner options did a great job with an overall selection to appeal to everyone as well as classic Greek and Cretan options. Obviously, if one truly wants a true Cretan dining experience, then I recommend eating off property, but we ate both nights we stayed at the resort, and we all greatly enjoyed. I've been to many all-inclusive hotels in Mexico and the Caribbean and the food and drinks at this establishment were the best we've had. The hotel manager was always present, making rounds ensuring people were enjoying their stay. In fact, our son celebrated his birthday one night and the hotel staff provided a dairy-free cake (he's allergic to dairy) for his bday complete with candles! Lastly, the resort is beautifully and tastefully decorated. I greatly enjoyed walking around, taking in all the sights. The designers did an exceptional job making it feel very Greek island-esque with every nook and cranny having artwork or decorations.

Tolles Ressort, außergewöhnliche Lage und Design, die ganze Bucht ist einfach atemberaubend. Schon die Anfahrt zum Ressort ist schön. Personal total bemüht und freundlich, zuvorkommen. Hier passt einfach alles. Toller Yoga Raum, Fitness Studio und indoor und outdoor Fitness- und Wellnessbereich sucht seines Gleichen. Einfach ein perfekter Ort und einen unvergesslichen Urlaub zu erleben!

Really nice property with great views and wonderful facilities. Pools were beautiful and peaceful. The overall property design is imaginative and beautiful. Breakfast was quite good and all the staff very helpful and friendly. Easy walk into town and beaches.

sehr nettes House keeping. haben den ganzen Koffer Inhalt von einer kaputt gegangenen Rotwein Flasche gesäubert. freundliches Personal, egal wo man war. hatten das Zimmer mit dem eignen Pool. geräumig, sauber, Pool hatte im Oktober nur vormittags Sonne. Strand mit Fahrstuhl erreichbar. sehr schöner Strand. Sonne im Oktober nur bis 17 Uhr. schöner Sonnenaufgang. all inclusive hat sich gelohnt. essen nicht überragend aber trotzdem gut und mittags und abends abwechslungsreich. alles in allem wunderbare 4 Tage verbracht.

The service was wonderful the staff so friendly and nothing was a bother. Our suite was really special and led onto the beach.We had use of the Six Senses Spa which was amazing.The weather was not as hot or sunny as we would have liked but that’s in the lap of the gods. This was an absolute dream location for our wedding anniversary and the staff of the Elounda Mare made it so special for us in every possible way. This is definitely a Relais and Chateaux member. Our bungalow with the private pool was a heaven‘s nest with a breathtaking view, all beautifully decorated. Well thought-through interior with features that make your stay very enjoyable (pool can be heated, nice lights, nice light fixtures and lamps all over, shower with features, towel heater, Nespresso, smart pad with newspapers, W-Lan worked without problems). The whole ground is like a crete village, with a lot to discover and beautiful spots everywhere. Wonderful architecture. Very well kept and maintained. All very elegant, main building interior of reception and bar reminds of Frank Lloyd Wright; the view over the sea is breathtaking. Beautiful gardens, large outdoor pool and sandy beach with crystal clear water and wonderful possibility to swim from one beach to another sunbathing spot. Watersport can be easily rented. All pools are ecofriendly filled with saltwater. Tennis and golf can be played. Six senses spa can be visited (extra charge)in the other Elounda next door. Restaurants can be found on ground or reachable by water taxi, which is in our opinion the most wonderful way to start your dinner. The crew was exceptional friendly. On ground the restaurant Old Mill outshines, it is haute cuisine at its finest. We have to mention again the outshining and excellent treatment of us as customer from the whole staff, starting at the shuttle which one can rent and who takes you from the airport to the hotel and back, to the always helpful reception (thank you again Vassilis), the housekeeping, the shuttle services, the breakfast and restaurant staff until the wonderful barkeeper. You all made our stay a dream come true - thank you!
