From the moment we walked in it was outstanding, the room was spotless, spacious and had excellent amenities. The pool and beach area are amazing, the sun loungers are comfortable. The team at the pool bar and restaurant are brilliant, every morning I was greeted with a smile and my favourite cappuccino with coconut milk. Two staff, Min and Lek were superb, a real credit to the hotel and made our stay extra special, always remembering what drinks and breakfast we enjoyed, explained the fish and food dishes available and spoke about the paddle boarding and kayaking facilities we could use. Excellent location, within easy walking to the fisherman’s village.

El detalle del peluche en la habitación. Todos los días teníamos agua cuando entraba el servicio de limpieza. La habitación estaba completamente equipada, en el baño había acondicionador para el pelo y loción corporal. El desayuno fue buffet libre y de muy buena calidad. Para repetir.

From the moment we arrived, service and attention exceeded expectations. The owner, Muky, greeted us in the driveway. He quickly added us to WhatsApp and communication was instant the entire stay. Nothing was too much for him and his staff insofar as making the guest experience outstanding. The guest room was spacious and clean. We had an ocean view and a balcony. There was a short walk to the swimming pool and private beach. The food was great. In addition to a huge and healthy breakfast, we ordered off the reasonably priced room service menu a couple of times. I would recommend that you book including breakfast because it is a short drive to restaurants. The owner developed and was the general contractor for this newly built resort. His love for his project showed in every way. You should book this place.

This was a perfect hotel for a family vacation. The range of facilities was excellent, especially the kids pool and the biggest indoor play area I’ve ever seen in a hotel. We used the babysitting service twice and it was great for our 18 month old. The hotel is close to other bars and restaurants and offers a great breakfast.

Sylvia is an amazing owner and host - she made the place feel more like a family home than a hotel. She's a very impressive woman who really cares about her guests. This culture goes through the entire staff - all very friendly and helpful. The place and facilities are all great - so much for the kids to do. They loved it and didn't want to leave! We're really glad we chose the Maya and wish we'd stayed longer. Highly recommended!
