Situated in Plaka, 200 metres from Plaka Beach, Aegean Palace features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Boasting a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a water park. Customer service was an absolute highlight and helped us with everything we needed (rides to/from the ferry, car rentals, places to see and eat). Hell I'm sure if we asked for a unicorn they could find one for us. They were also always in a good mood and very attentive. It's right next to the beach with a ton of restaurants nearby and a bus stop right out front in case you want to hop into the city to do some shopping. The pool is also super nice and there's even a gym with free weights. Protip: Use the Plakcafe sunbeds (part of the same resort). You only need to pay for a drink (which c'mon you were gonna get anyways). We made the mistake of wondering around and had to pay for both the sun beds + drinks when they were free ones right on our doorstep.

Location on the beach is great although the enclosed bar and restaurant area is missing a trick, there was a lot of concrete to look at as they faced inland, the back of the bar towards the sea
