the room was good - spacious and clean and the bathroom shower was the best ever. Breakfast was "hearty" The second day we ordered one breakfast for two and we didn't go hungry! As far as public transport was concerned it was well connected in all directions.. We didn't need to take a taxi at all. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It's a city! We were coming from the highlands and headed to the Lake District, so it did not do much for us, but if you love architecture and history, you'll like Glasgow. We took a walk by the riverfront and did not feel very safe. We enjoyed seeing Glasgow Green, the People's Castle, and the McLennan Arch.

There different transportation means available. However, I enjoyed the bus transportation during my trip.
Glasgow people are friendly and helpful.
Those who like shopping will find it easy to get whatever they want in the several shopping centers there. I liked mostly all types of female cosmetic's that were also with reasonable prices.
I loved visiting George Square area especially as of the great weather at this time of the year, April. You can also plan your meetings with you family members or friends there and enjoy your time.

The area around the hotel in particular is very enjoyable and interesting, with Kelvingrove Park, The Kelvingrove Museum, and the Botanical Gardens all being close. The Kelvingrove / Finnieston area is a bit more relaxed and laid-back than the city centre but it has a lot of really nice pubs, bars, cafes, and restaurants too. Public transport to the centre and to other parts of Glasgow is good.

The city was amazing .
The city was amazing . We stayed by central station the vibe was brilliant. The people of Glasgow were lovely , very helpful. We went on a tour with Rabbie tours we learnt so much about the history of the highlands and lowlands .
There are so many cafes and pubs and restaurants. We went to mister Singh’s Indian restaurant amazing food and staff were brilliant.
Lovely, booked couple of nights stay over as holiday was in north Scotland, didn't expect the standard we got. Friendly, helpful staff to the clean room ensuite, great facilities in and out of the hotel, well impressed and the breakfast, wonderful, no rushing lot's of fresh alternatives.
We opted for a quiet room, best nights sleep and the price was a bit more than average but worth it, the swimming pool sauna and wet room finished off our short stay over
Definitely coming again
Amazing location (affordable Duke St car park near by and close to train/subway station), great for walking into the city centre or in our case, the Barrows. Staff was more than friendly and my partner and I enjoyed the free welcome drink. The room was perfectly clean and got cleaned and re-stocked with towels for the second night we stayed (not all hotels do that). Nice shower room and comfy bed, room did not feel too small either.
How friendly and helpful the staff where and also how clean the hotel was . The restaurant too was fab good value for money had the fish and chips it was nice and fresh they also do a great breakfast what was buffy style with a big selection too chose from and you can have as much as you like . Had a great night's sleep beds where very comfy .it's a great city centre location just a few minutes walk too buccanon bus station .
Location was excellent. Location was excellent. Just outside of Glasgow train centre, cheap food right next door and a very cute scottish pub next door too and hop on hop off bus directly across street . Centre of Glasgow short 10-15 minute walk away. Cleanist hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Super modern and sleek. Price for location was good. Room was small and very comfortable and totally efficient use of space.
Went to Glasgow to attend a gig. The location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to just about everything useful in Glasgow. The hotel itself was really smart, modern and clean. The rooms were modern, clean and for being City Centre, it was quiet, and the staff were all polite and happy to assist with anything. Thoroughly impressed with the hotel and will definitely use again.
My friend and I LOVED this hotel! The bar and restaurant are great, the hotel is modern and very clean, and it’s in a great location. The staff are also incredible. Our room was upgraded and we almost canceled all our plans in Glasgow because we didn’t want to leave it. I cannot recommend the hotel and staff members enough, thank you so much for a great stay.
The hotel from location, staff, cleanliness, breakfast was all 100% We will definitely be back to glasgow and stay at this hotel again. The city centre was minutes walk away. The river was outside the hotel. The carpark was rite over the road and only cost us £11.95 for 24hrs when you give registration into reception. Win win all round as
This was our second stay at Yotel and, thankfully, this time our shower door didn't open straight into our room! Dignity intact! Whether this was based on our last review or not, we were given a much larger room, with two separate sections. The hotel is located perfectly in city centre Glasgow and the Vega bar is great.
The hotel was extremely clean and staff were friendly. Not far from the nightlife in Glasgow or Glasgow's West end. Easy to get to via public transport as well. Would definitely stay there again when in Glasgow on busines or leisure purposes. Slightly cheaper city centre is always a bonus too.
Hotel is extremely well located if you are visiting Glasgow and want to be in the city centre. Especially good if you are attending concerts in the city. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff very friendly. Room well appointed. Value for money.
I always stay in this hotel when I travel to Glasgow as I travel by train and the Central Station is across the road from the hotel , and you are based in the city centre for all the amenities, also the price is reasonable
The location of this hotel is very good for easy access to Glasgow city centre. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are basic, but the small touchs like providing cans of ironbrew and wafer biscuits are very welcoming.
Quality hotel in the centre of Glasgow - good size room and bathroom with a bath. Excellent staff who are friendly and very helpful. Restaurant for breakfast on the top floor with a view over the city centre
the hotel is very well located, everything that we need we can found around, close to the city centre as well.
the room was clean.
staffs are kind, friendly and helpful
very good breakfast!!
thanks for all
The hotel was in a fantastic location and we enjoyed being able to walk through Glasgow City Centre almost daily. It was convenient having the train and underground within walking distance.
Room, staff, location, dinner was great. Breakfast was not that great, seamed more like a cheaper hotel breakfast bar. Probably worst breakfast during our whole Scotland trip.
Breakfast selection good, paid for separately, £19, expensive however, at YOHOTEL it is £10
Third stay in similar type of Glasgow city centre hotel this year, best yet.
Comfortable apartment. Really convenient for the city centre. Very good value for money especially given some of the hotel prices in Glasgow on the weekend we visited.
