The property is already impressing by its architecture from a distance but the moment you walk in, it is a big "wow"! The hotel building is very big but the luxury of staying here, is the immense space in the public areas to enjoy, relax and socialize. The lobby is very impressive with its panoramic view overlooking Rovinj old town. Our room was very spacious and modern, and had a big terrace overlooking the port / old town. The highlight is the spa with 3 different pools indoor and outdoor, as well as the stylish relaxation section with the lush garden. The food at dinner and breakfast was perfectly prepared and served by excellent service staff. This resort is a jewel on the Adriatic coast and I will definitely come back for more.

A beautiful remodel, everything in pristine condition. The decor is beautiful, tasteful and modern. Spectacular sunset view from the infinity pool/bar. Fresh breakfast with many hot and cold options. The gym is amazing! Brand new Technogym treadmills (3) and Technogym free weights and other equipment. A large, separate group fitness space for private stretching, etc. Cold water, towels and apples provided. And access to a balcony overlooking the pool and sea from the gym! Room service was fast, delicious and reasonably priced. I didn’t use the butler pantry (small snack and beverage self-service sales on each floor) but love the concept and convenience. Room decor was beautiful and bathroom amenities were high quality. Love the eco-conscious slippers and laundry bag. I had a Collection Room - Sea View which was a side view of the bay with sliding doors that opened wide, but no balcony. It was on a small side, which was perfect for just me. I wish I had upgraded to a room with a full balcony and/or full sea view at the front of the building, as I’m sure they have a spectacular sunset view. Would stay again without hesitation!

Badebåter ut til Red Island med sandstrand var fint.
Badebåter ut til Red Island med sandstrand var fint. Ellers syklet vi gjennom skogen syd for båthavnen til mange klippe og rullestens strender. Fin gamleby med mange tavernaer og lokal mat som var rimelig. Fint utvalg av sommertøy i lin, duker mm. Hadde en fint sightseeing tur rundt Istria halvøya på 3 ulike vingårder - topp lokal mat; skinke, ost, oliven, vin, syltetøy og brandy - samt trerettes middag. Klart salt fantastisk turkisfarget hav:)

Jeg synes byen Umag ikke er spesiell fin.
Jeg synes byen Umag ikke er spesiell fin. Veldig forfallent. Det vil si at de har ikke restaurert byen på samme måte som Porec, Novigrad etc. Spisestedene bærer preg av lite utvikling i tiden, lav standard på maten. (typisk junk food) Vi fant ett par Vin-barer, en i begynnelsen av "gågata" og en nesten ved klokketårnet. De var bare helt fantastiske, gode viner,oster etc. Havneområdet trenger virkelig søppelrydding. spesielt vannet. Umag er helt greit, men det er ikke denne byen man bør velge vist man velger Istria området.

Mitt tyvende besøk til denne vakte byen, man aldri blir lei av.... Det er mange bra spise steder. Rett ved Kata ligger en utrolig bra pizza restaurant som heter Orlando. Scuba restaurant i havna er veldig bra, Sidro og Rio også. Dream er både lite hotel og restaurant. Anbefaler begge deler. Topp mat og service. Fine rom og super frokost, ved siden av ligger baren Kristal. Der serverer innehaver Vera supre cocktails, rimelige og god service! Lei en bil og utforsk Istria. Mye historie og en mange spennende små og store byer!

Motovun er en spennende middelalderby, fantastisk beliggenhet og et godt utgangspunkt for å utforske Istria med bil. Gode restauranter, i september/oktober er det ferske, hvite trøfler over alt.

Rovinj-Rovigno. -Kan ikke beskrives. Den måååå bare oppleves. En ekte Istrias-perle. med en blanding Kroatisk-Italiensk befolkning og nydelige mattretter. Nydelige steinbelagte gater og bygninger, der man kan puste dypt og er nærmest himmelen man tror.
