Hotel Dumbrava is located in the centre of Bacau and provides accommodation with air conditioning, a restaurant with international cuisine, a relaxation area and a summer garden. The room (upgraded) was so big and relaxing. Corner executive room with sun making it so pretty with big windows. Very clean and spacious bathroom too with a bathtub. Bed was big and comfortable. Good WiFi in the room and restaurant area nearby. Breakfast was served in a spectacular Sala and had great variety matching 5star service Restaurant also a great choice next to the hotel with nice Italian flair and 10% discount The personnel were attentive to our needs without being on top of us with neck breathing fake concerns. The breakfast was delicious and had everything I wanted. The tea bags were high end, which was a joy to drink each morning. The Spa was just what I needed. The hours of operation were good and I was able to relax and enjoy each visit.

Located in Slănic-Moldova, COMPLEX PANORAMIC features a tennis court and a terrace. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a spa centre. The staff is amazing! Everybody is kind and fun. Estera, the receptionist, is an amazing person who nade me feel comfortable and I had some good quality conversations with her. The bartender makes such a good Earl Gray with milk and a pinch of vanilla. I came with a little girl and the hotel is 100% procent babyfriendly. The playground is safe and new. The pool is too deep for non swimmers kids, but the staff, Mihaela, entertained my child while I dived a little bit. The food is good and diverse. The bed is king size and I totally loved it.

The four family/double rooms are of an appropriate size, are (or seemed to be) sound-proof, are very nice, clean, and the furniture (stores, bed, table) has a new, nice wooden aspect. Those with balconies have a nice view, so if you are lucky (or can choose) go for these. I have no complaints about the mattresses, although some may have found these to be on the softer side. The yard is big enough, offering various types of activities that we could not try, since it was too cold (winter). The breakfast is of high quality and is served (it is not a buffet) based on tourist choices and requirements, which is a very good option since it avoids wasting food. One can have practically everything (within a normal range): three types of omelets, fried or boiled eggs, cheese, salamis, jam and zakuska, butter, cold appetizers, etc, tea coffee, fruits. I did not try yoghurt or sour milk, I hope they did have these also. The traditional food served at lunch/dinner is very tasty (including the soups/ciorba and desserts) and we highly recommend the ribs, tochitura, coquelet, goulash and ask for slaninuta cu ceapa, although it is not in the menu... Last but definitely not least, the personnel is exquisite: the manager/maître d' (an energetic, open minded and helpful lady), waitress/esses, always asking what we need, always being there for us.

Renovated as an Italian-style villa, Piazzetta Bacau is situated on Route E85, 4 km from the centre of Bacău and it offers accommodation units with flat-screen TV and a restaurant on site. The location is perfect if you want to avoid the city trafiic jams in the morning. The food is very good. The staff is well mannered.
